Ravenswood Fellowship UMC Sunday Outdoor Worship
We will have our first in-person worship service on May 23rd at 10:30 am. This will take place in the garden. We will keep the capacity size to 20 people. Face masks are required. If you are interested in attending in person, please sign-up using the link here. If you are unable to attend, we will still have our worship online as well, using our Zoom link.

Please feel free to bring your own lawn chair if you feel more comfortable!

Uptown Rally Against AAPI Racism

Uptown, Chicago, Illinois, 2021 May 2, 12 Noon. The Uptown Clergy Group is hosting an inter-faith Uptown Rally Against AAPI Racism outdoors at the Buddhist Temple of Chicago, 1151 W Leland Ave, Chicago, IL 60640 on Sunday, 2021 May 2 at 12 Noon. The rally addresses hate crimes against Asian Americans Pacific Islanders in the United States and the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, which includes Asia on Argyle. Invited speakers include Illinois State Senator Mike Simmons, Rev. Patti Nakai of the Buddhist Temple of Chicago, Rev. Rev. Ji Eun Mori O of the Ravenswood UMC, and Pastor Nick Kim of Uptown Baptist. Uptown’s Asian American community organizations are invited to participate with display stands. Uptown Rally Against AAPI Racism

Participants are invited to make signs/posters with the social media hashtag slogans #StopAsianHate or #StopAAPIHate.

We will continue to follow Governor Pritzker's guidelines during the COVID 19 pandemic. Currently, the mandate is to stay at home as much as possible.  The office staff will continue to work remotely until this mandate is lifted.  We will follow the guidelines issued by the Governor as well as the Chicago CDC and provide an update when possible.
