Our Partners

We are blessed to share our building facilities with many groups and non-profit organizations who share the mission and values of the church. We have several meeting spaces and a full gymnasium that are used throughout the year. Our current partners include:

Midori Market  (https://www.facebook.com/midorifranks/)  Dedicated to showcasing locally made, fair trade, and environmentally conscious merchandise, and the repair of jewelry and watches. Ran by Ravenswood Fellowship's own B.J. Fukawa and Cheryl Kato, its a warm and welcoming addition to the church.

Chicago Books to Women In Prison (https://chicagobwp.org/) - Volunteer collective that distributes paperback books free of charge to people incarcerated in women’s prisons nationwide. We are dedicated to offering women behind bars the opportunity for self-empowerment, education, and entertainment that reading provides.  Read about them in DNAInfo article .

Ravenswood Shorin-ryu Karate Dojo (https://ravenswoodkarateclub.com/) -A community-based dojo, we value good character and community relations as much as, if not more than, technical ability. Like other modern Japanese martial ways the purpose of karatedo lies not in the victory over one’s opponent, but the disciplining of one’s body and the forging of one’s spirit through rigorous training.

Choyokan Kendo Dojo (http://www.choyokan-kendo.org/) -The Japanese martial art of swordsmanship, is more of a self-discipline rather than a self-defense. Its practices are vigorous and demanding; the art is challenging and fun to learn. If you are a person seeking a "way" to self development, and not merely trophies, Kendo training may be for you.

Center for Religion and Psychotherapy (http://www.crpchicago.com/) -

A not-for-profit organization offering psychotherapy and pastoral counseling for adults and adolescents, individuals and couples, since 1965.

The Night Ministry (http://www.thenightministry.org/) -

The Night Ministry is a Chicago-based organization that works to provide housing, health care and human connection to members of our community struggling with poverty or homelessness. Several times a year, Ravenswood Fellowship members provide meals and serve on the Night Ministry's Outreach Bus.
